Kuta in Bali is really quiet with tourists at the moment.

So I left the coastal village and now I am back in Kuta for a couple of nights before I fly back to Bangkok. I went for a walk around town, wow it was quiet and more locals around that tourists. Unfortunately, I think the visitor numbers will continue to drop and tourism is going to take a big hit.

Do you have any observations where you have been or live? I would be super interested to hear about them and it would be good to share your experiences.

I think the damage to confidence has been done, people are spending less and hunkering down in the near term. Not the time to spending the cash, but better to save your stored value.
