We should show our gratitude

People always say that in the present world finding good people is not so easy. Somehow, I also agree with the statement because I found no reason to deny it. Why is it hard? I know all of us complain about it but how many of us belong to the good people? Do you consider yourself a good person? If it’s the case, most of the people consider themselves a good person but it’s not necessarily to be true from the perspective of others. But I am curious to know how many of us try to be good people instead of finding good people around us.

I never consider myself a good person and I have no intention of being a good person either. It’s because I am quite selfish and my world is self-centric and I don’t care too much about the betterment of the people as well as society. I just try to keep minding my own business. Thinking about the greater good as well for society is not something that crosses my mind.

Even if I am quite selfish I rarely (intentionally never) think about harming others. It's because I don't have the time and energy to waste on such a thing. But I'll try to show my gratitude if I receive any help from others. I believe that helping is a choice and if anyone chooses to help me, I must repay their kindness if possible and I need to be grateful to them. Why am I different in this case.

It's true that always try to isolate myself but I am a human and I can't cut ties with people fully. I am not a super man and in various kind of situation, I may be helpless and I may need the help of others. It's the truth for every human. If I don't show gratitude to the person who helped me, it may discourage the person from helping others. If every person in this world starts to think in that way it will be chaotic. Because no people will offer a helping hand when other people need it.

Gratitude means showing respect to the person who helped me. It represents that I am thankful to the person, and I feel blessed for receiving help. It also inspired the person who helped me and the person tried to be generous to others and try to help others when help is needed. If I don’t show my gratitude and say something that hurts the helper, the person may choose to deny help from the next time and it’s kind of end of humanity. So, gratitude is equal to saving humanity and encouraging people to protect humanity.

I think that most of us don’t show gratitude to those people who stay around us and give our time for us deserve it. Their time is also precious, and they are giving their precious time to us and it’s something for what we should show our gratitude.
