Uncertainty and luck

Life is unpredictable and there is no way we can predict everything in our life. It does not matter how good we are in calculating the situation. There are sometimes we end up in a troublesome situation because of uncertainty because it's something beyond our control. Because of uncertainty, we can lose our valuable assets in any time and sometimes we may end up losing our life also. Life is indeed very uncertain and it just needs few seconds of change the overall situation.

You must be curious to know why all of us are and I am discussing about it. I'm saying it and it means there exists certain reason and I'm going to discuss it or share about it. A few days ago, while I was busy with my online work, I was in front of my computer. Most of the time I stay in that place without paying too much attention what's going on outside. From my sitting position, I can see outside very clearly through my room window. I don't know why in that day. I was paying attention outside and I heard the sound. One woman was shouting "Fire, Fire". Because of my curiosity, I came a little bit closer to my room window and see what's going on. I was trying to figure out if I can see any fire or not.

Few seconds passed and I could only notice the smoke in the air without figuring out the source of the fire. From the angle of my room window, the fire was not visible. So, immediately, I went to my parents room and from the balcony I tried to see the source of the fire. The fire source was approximately 8 to 10 meters distance from there. 8 to 10 meter means it was very close and they were two tin-shed house which is connected (very close) to the balcony of my parents. If any of those tin-shed caught fire, it might not take one minute to spread it and come to the balcony of my house.

I took all of the cloths and all dry things from there and kept it inside the room. It was necessary because if fires spread, it could be helpful to bring fire inside of my home. I know it was not a solution for longer time, because if fire is spreads, then such a step won't helps too much either, but it can allow us some time if I close the door there. One of the tin-shed house just caught the fire and I was just thinking how fast the situation was going to worse. The danger was indeed beyond my imagination even if I am good at calculating. Fire accidents can bring many casualties because fire spread in all direction.

Even if fire brigade tried to come, it would be too late to do anything. One person immediately thrown water on the tin-shed house roof and stopped the fire there. The person did the right thing. I think that the situation could be worse if any of those house caught fire. Later people came and stopped the fire from the source before it spread too much. If the first person didn't restrain the fire from spreading through tin-shed house it would be difficult to bring the fire in control. So, I am thankful to the person who did it first. The another person, I feel thankful who alerted people at the very beginning. One minute late could bring destruction. I think we were just lucky on that day. That's all.
