LESSON NUMBER 1

Don’t store your coins on an exchange.

You have heard this phase before “ if it’s not your keys, it’s not your coins” and that is a fact.

What I thought was a great exchange ended up being hacked and closed down. Yes CRYPTOPIA.
I sent 4 BTC coins and was trading on many alt coins and bitcoin when one day excited to trade that this site was hacked.

You have to imagine the feeling and frustration that goes with that. After endless emails and tweets and calls.... NOTHING!!!!!

To my surprise they opened and I was thankful that this company was honest and we would resume trading but no no.... I had no btc in my wallet. Only a few horrible dead alts I was playing around.

Again the frustration began and tweets rolled out but the only response was “we are working on it”

As you all know Cryptopia have closed down and it may take years to even have a shot at getting that money that again I had loaned from a bank . (Don’t judge me) as a single parent I’m trying to give my family the best future.

I have learned hard and I am moving forward with joy. If you would like to donate any btc or upvote I would really appreciate it.
