No troubles on this trip!
Hello everyone!
The sun is shining in my part of the world, so it is an exceptionally positive day. I hope the sun is shining for you as well :)
Yesterday I finished a drawing that I was working on independently of my daily exercises. It's my first such complicated work, not 1:1 copy. First, I came up with a theme. Then, I collected references that helped me reflect the various elements. The drawing itself took me a very long time. I expected a slightly different effect, but I couldn't draw everything.
In the beginning, the title was "A struggle." In my imagination, I saw a ship drifting in the air with butterfly wings instead of sails. There were supposed to be three heavy anchors behind, slowing the voyage. Unfortunately, it was these anchors that gave me a problem. I didn't know how to draw them in the correct perspective, and I couldn't create a dynamic scene with chains strong tighten.

Let's see some stages of my work. A references with the first sketch of a ship:

The process in a nutshell. I wish I could paint that fast ;)

Final graphic. As you can see, I settled for an anchor in a "light" version ;) We don't anticipate any trouble on this trip!
Thanks for stopping by, see you soon ๐บ
