Making Crossroad Decisions
One of the most complicated tasks everyone faces in life is decision making. Every few seconds we have the opportunity to change our lives for good or bad. The small decisions are simple. You may not even notice you are making them, but our brain has an efficient way of taking decisions without conscious self efforts.
What about those life changers? What about crossroad decisions? The ones you have to make consciously considering every variable and possible options available. Most times we ask people for advice, they'll tell you "Do what will make you happy". What if this generic response makes you happy but isn't the right decision on the long run? What if it is a trap in disguise?
Well I have come to discover that a decision may bring immediate happiness but later fail you on the long run. When making life changing decisions, take your heart out of the equation. Rationalize to be successful. Break your goals into smaller milestones. Like me, whenever I’m faced with a big decision to make, I take my own time to think over. I let the issue sink and digest in my subconscious mind and “sleep on it”, so to speak. I eventually receive the insights and signs that help me make decisions that are most in alignment with my authentic self.
Clearly there is daily need for improvement in our ability to make sound decisions because they may ultimately shape our life path and destination. Be wise and make the right decisions. Don't allow quick wealth & happiness blind you to real facts. You only live once.
