Finally, 5000+ HP and Leo Power!

I started this Hive journey in March 2021. Well, I started a Splinterlands journey then. It was months later that I realized Hive existed. While I've dropped a lot of cash on SPL, I've put very little into Hive. I had plenty of chances but every time I get some hive there was something in the ecosystem I wanted to spend it on. Time will tell if any of that pays off. So far, most of it is not looking good.

In almost 3 years, I'd managed to build a bag of about 3750 HP. I've been told by many that once you cross 10k, the snowball really starts going but I just haven't been able to get close. It hasn't helped that I've been out of meaningful work since 2020.

So recently when I stacked some hive from selling dCrops assets, I decided it was time to make a meaningful push on my hp. I was able to stake over 1500 more Hive. This brought my total up to about 5250hp. So I'm now over halfway to my goal of 10k.

Before I did that though, I traded a little bit for Leo. I've been trying to get more LEO but I was stuck at 4500. So I spent about 40 Hive and get enough LEO to get my Cub status. I just broke 5000 LEO staked. Thought about waiting for LPUD but eh.

Looking at the values of these two tokens, its actually kind of nuts that its taken me this long to build up these bags but I'm making some moves and maybe if I can get a steady income again, I'll put more effort into it. I was also looking forward to cashing out a bit of Splinterlands for hive but I'll only do that if the price is moving higher. Right now SPL is still floundering in its own muck.
