Trying good quality coffee for the first time

This is my first post to this “Cinnamon Cup Coffee” community. So first, let me introduce myself. I’m Imantha from Sri Lanka. I’m a Civil Engineer by profession. I’m currently 26 years old. In this post, I’m going to share with you all about my coffee experience with my girlfriend.

Trying good quality coffee for the first time was one of my dreams until this day. My girlfriend needed to collect her graduation photos from a studio in Colombo. So, we both decided to come and collect those.

In the morning, after we met, I suggested she try out a coffee restaurant nearby. She also agreed because she also never tried good quality coffee before. The place is called the “department of coffee”. It is very popular among Sri Lankans. I saw posts about this place on social media and decided to go with her.

After going there, I ordered a cappuccino and she ordered macho coffee. After some time they delivered our order. Since we did not taste their coffee types before, we did not have any idea about these 2 coffee types.

My dear friends, my coffee was so much bitter than I expected. Her one was very sweet and delicious. So, we shared our coffee half by half to cover the damage. I don’t prefer that bitter taste but I think it’s its uniqueness about it.

After enjoying coffee, we went to a nearby park and spend some quality time together. There were so many coffee varieties there, so we decided to try those ones also in the future.
