It's a beautiful Sunday and we are still away from home. The trip had been extended because some unexpected delays happened which were beyond our control. We hope to finalize things today though, fingers crossed...

Yesterday morning around 8, we were feeling so famished so the husband suggested we should take a short break from the drive and grab a bite. I remember inviting anyone who wants to come with me to Northern Coffee House a few weeks ago and because I had to look after Mom, I wasn't able to make good of my invitation. So my apologies on that, hehe!

Anyway, we were just traversing along the highway where it was so we decided to stop by, supposed to be for breakfast but they had none in the menu yet and we were quite on a rush so we settled for the sweet potato with maple syrup and a serving of the Lumpiang Shanghai.

There were also other early travelers who came wanting to have some breakfast meals but they ended up driving away because the food options were very limited. Most people here, especially those who travel far need heavy fill in the morning so coffee and snacks are usually not the choice.

For the husband and me though, we make some exceptions when we are really famished, lol! Either we eat or we go hungry and we wouldn't want the latter haha!

So yeah, it was sweet potatoes and shanghai in the morning. Weird but they still fill a growling tummy :) And whilst our food was being prepared, I took the chance to roam around the adjoining stall filled with handcrafted products, sculptures and others.

The husband noted that there had been changes since their last visit a couple weeks back and the stall was one of them. I will surely share my captures on that area on another day.
