My Recent Realistic Drawing

I'm excited to share with you the completed piece — a drawing that holds deep symbolism and emotion. It depicts a soldier and his wife, rendered with striking contrast: the man appears large and cloaked in shadow, while the woman is smaller, more defined, and vividly illuminated.

Her image subtly blends into his, suggesting that while they are two distinct individuals, they are intrinsically connected — as if their souls are intertwined. The composition evokes a powerful sense of protection and intimacy; with her figure nestled at his center, it feels as though he carries her within him, close to his heart, shielding her with his very being.
