Poem: Now I can Shine

In the middle of the night I became my fears.

My thoughts consumed me like fire and oil to drops of water.

I became a shadow of my thoughts

I was tired of the nights itself.

So I began to hope for the day.

I became a student of light.

It was light that shaped me.

Light became part of me...

I was hurled from darkness into the light.

A refreshing hope gazed at me.

The lights smiled at me with unopposed beauty.

I was thrown into the light with sadness now I have a glimpse of happy tears.

So now I go on with no fears because I have become the light.
