Une onde mécanique appelé aussi onde matérielle: c'est une onde qui se propage d'un milieu matériel avec transport d'énergie mais sans transport de la matière
exemple les ondes sismiques, le son ,les vagues à la surface de l'eau etc...

L'onde sinusoïdale

Définition:

Une onde sinusoïdale est une forme d’onde en forme de S définie qui de définie mathématiquement en fonction de la fonction sinus .
C'est pour cette raison qu'on l'appelle fonction sinusoïdale.
