My DIY Jewelry Box
Hello Diyhubbers, how are you all doing? I’m thrilled to share my latest DIY craft with you all, and I hope you guys love it and learn a thing or two from this tutorial.
I made this jewelry box after going through my art supplies and realizing it’s been like forever since I made anything. In no time, I picked up my popsicle sticks and foam sheet and got to work. With every step that proved to be difficult, I found a way to maneuver it without giving it much thought. As rusty as I am, I was able to make this colourful jewelry box, yippppeeeee!!! I feel good!!
To make this jewelry box I used the materials below and followed the steps below.
Materials
Foam sheet
Popsicles
Scissors
Gum
Carton
Flower
Procedure
Step 1:
I folded my foam sheet into two parts and I carefully cut the desired size and length for my jewelry box.
Step 2:
I applied gum on the foam sheet and carefully placed the popsicle sticks on it. I gently pressed them to be firm.
After applying the gum, I allowed everything to dry before proceeding to the next step.
Step 3:
Using the white carton, I carved out two semi-circle shapes as they will be used to hold the jewelry box together.
Step 4:
I attached the semi-circle shapes to both sides of the foam sheet, making sure I placed them correctly.
Step 5:
I joined everything together.
I added a little flower and bow to make my jewelry box look cuter and Voila!! My jewelry box was created.
I’m glad this jewelry box turned out beautiful and it was nice to make something beautiful after a while.
I’d love to know what you all think about my jewelry box. Is it something you’d want to try out? Would it be easy for you to create? I’d love to read your thoughts in the comment section.
