HOW TO COMPLAIN EFFECTIVELY

It’s always important to technically know how to complain about things effectively when they go wrong and ain’t your faults.

1. Gather valid evidence before you complain: - it is important to know to why? S as to know exactly what the outcome you want from complaints, so taking a few minutes to get your head around the full cause of the problem is an important thing to do before you pick up a grouse. And remember , if you can’t see the problem straightaway, that’s another layer to the issue, so you need to be clear to fix two things which are lack of clarity and the problem itself
2. Take notes, and more notes¬: - once you’ve gathered all the valid evidence, figure out the problem as best you can and decide on your preferred solution, you can write these down in short bullet points before you ring to complain. When you’re annoyed, you don’t think as clearly and retain information as well as usual, keeping a record helps you remember everything better and give you something concrete to refer to if they don’t fix the problem for you rights away
3. Stay calm and polite as you can manage: - l say this with experience o both sides of these conversations, it’s a early important thing to remember. Because if you fully lose your rag and get aggressive, you lose your advantages as the wounded party. Then you run the risk of your complaints being dismissed as hostile and or abusive. So don’t give them the excuse not to help you. Keep them on your side. If you do lose your temper, make sure you course correct
4. Know exactly how and when to escalate:-it’s important to know what to do as at when due, you don’t want to waste your time talking, complaining over and over again if they are simply not helping. Beyond this point, it’s best to take advise from seasoned professionals who knows about the dealings and legalities
5. Don’t give up: - these things can take a while, but all worthwhile things do. Don’t be disheartened if that turns out t be the case. Just keep on keeping on and it will all come right in the end.
