Kids Having Fun on Pickup Truck, But....
Hello everyone. I'm happy to be here again. I just wanna share a little update about me on Sunday. It's maybe late because right now, it's already Tuesday here in the Philippines. On Sunday, we went to the church. My little girl (Poinsettia) was sleeping when the pastor was preaching. I was glad that I could listen to his sermon. For I remember, he said that life is unfair because there is no such perfect life. Everyone of us faces problems too. When life encounters a huge problem, it's just a test.
After an hour of sermon, Poinsettia woke up. She missed their Sunday school with her friends just behind the church. Every Sunday school, they're given snacks. My niece (Mackenzie) is always excited to go to the church especially when she is given a lot of biscuits. After the Sunday school, they always hide and seek outside the church. They also love climbing to and fro at our friend's pick-up truck. When I looked at them, I remembered my childhood days how happy I was to climb at the trees. But these days, when I see Pointy (Poinsettia) climbing, I fret because I overthink that she's gonna fall.
Even if it was very sunny, Poinsettia didn't care as long as she can get the flowers for me. She would say, 'Pretty flower for you my pretty momma." Inside me is the joy that I raised a sweet and thoughtful little girl. I wish that when she'll grow up, she will never change. When she was a little, she would hug and kiss me when she knew I am exhausted after she threw a tantrum. After that, she would say sorry. I always tell her, "Please remain this way when you'll be a grown up." She would reply, "But I love you so much."
While we waited for the car, my sister-in-law went to the neighbours dogs shelter. This shelter has collected the homeless dogs and give the dog away to the new fur parents when they adopt one of them. When no one adopts the dogs, they are euthanized. It's very cruel. We were scared if our dog Cody was there in the shelter. Cody is gone for one week. We looked for him in every place but still nothing. We hoped that the shelter took him because they may think he is a homeless dog, but he was never there. My baby under the tree was sad that Cody is gone. She asked my sister in-law if Cody will come back. Until now, he hasn't come back, but we're still hoping he would find his way home after the days of strayed. How about you, what you feel when your pet you love is no longer home?
