Introduction

Hello there !
My first post on Vibes tribe and also about a games I started in December, you guessed it already, Rising Star.
It's been 3 full months now and I wanted to share my experience on this super addictive game.
A funny thing is I "invested" some Hive in this game (and in some other games) but my decision wasn't based on ROI at all.
I just wanted to progress faster and climb the rankings ! Not a very wise investor right ? ;)

Investments

Let's start with this and why I would start investing in it.
To be honest I was enjoying the game and didn't plan to BUT I read in some Leofinance post that you could have a special card if you bought the 12 packs offer with 100k Starbits.
Well cool but I'm not in a hurry right ? I will accumulate this amount with missions and buy it once this is done.
Noooooo the card is a limited edition (I guessed that) and all the prints would have been distributed soon !
Ok I totally FOMO on this one and here I come and buy 100k Starbits on the market.

This obviously pushed me to have a look at the other "classical"... luckily no need to FOMO with the others.
But I still needed some packs to progress faster and decided to buy the 12 packs and 24 packs offers anyway.
Adding Beethoven and Brahms to my collection :)

Last but not least the infamous STARBITS Millionaire card, allowing player to perform a special mission everyday with a reward of 10k Starbits.
That's a 12 packs added every 10 days (excluding starbits earned during norma missions).
So I'm back to the market and instead of buying 1M Starbits directly I put orders to buy at lower prices.
I don't recall how many Hive I spent but that's not the most important, because I finally got this.

It's been 6 days now I think and I'm definitely enjoying those additional 10k/day, I should be able to buy a 12 packs tomorrow or the day after.

Rockstar profile

Finally talking about my rockstar ! So here is how it looks:

Very weak in IM as I haven't been lucky with the Legendary cards yet.
I struggled a lot with my ego but it's now finally in control thanks to plenty of Guitar lessons (giving between 30 and 61 Skill Points).

Funny thing about ego is I totally messed it up by myself. You wonder how ? Because I was a beginner first and I have no clue that repeating the same mission would increase ego for it...
At the beginning I was chasing the packs offered by the achievements.

So I kept doing the first mission lasting 5 minutes, smart uh ?
I was very happy because it would give me more chances to get a slice of pizza, thus playing more 5 minutes mission... DUMB.
I realised once I opened my first 12 packs, pushing above the 1000 fans threshold. Tough reality.
So the first trick was to put on the market the high Fans cards (mostly crazy vehicles) at unreasonnable price and let them here untill my skill was sufficient.

All in all here is how I rank after 3 months and some investment:

Can do better ! But I started to get a part of the daily reward ! And that's very satisfying :)

Strategy

I'm not going to give a very complex strategy here and most probably similar to most of you here.
Always prioritising lowest ego missions with longest time to perform and highest reward.
Usually I start with Shopping Mall followed by Radio Studio Session, and adding some short time missions here and there to fill the gaps.
A cup of coffee when few energy is missing, a slice of pizza when energy is 10 or below.
I realised I needed a lot of pizza slices to be able to play "non stop" so I bought 8 slices but I have only 1 pizza box.
I might need another pizza box but so far I can play non stop.
Always doing the longest mission before to sleep which is currently Local Mini Tour Support as my level doesn't allow more than that.
My weekly playing time is over 6000 minutes in average but I'm still missing a lot of mission ending thus wasting time.

Regarding skills I believe I'm doing 5-6 hours of music lessons everyday.

I'm also playing hard on the seasonal missions, despite the fact that it is slowing down my progress in terms of level and Starbits.
Who knows how much these cards will cost in some months.
I've started during the Christmas mission and been more or less lucky I would say.
Nonetheless I got it all so far.

I got 1 S7 and 3 S8 during Chritmas and 4 S15 and 2 S16 during Valentine.

Conclusion

Well I'm really enjoying playing this game, that's the least I can say.
My goal is to reach top50 first and see where I can go from here.
