Snail photography

Hello people. It's raining outside and I went to photograph some snails because there are a lot of them in our backyard. I took one out of grass and placed him on a wooden plank to take few photos of him. At first he was scared and went to his house to hide but after just few seconds he went out because he felt safe and he knew I won't harm him.

These are photos that I made with my flash, I wanted to create strong contrast and some silhouettes. Tell me what do you think about them. :D
