My Pikachu Team!

It's Pikachu time!

Well I don't usually play video games I want to blog about. I usually don't do anything I think is super crazy or worth sharing in a video game. Usually when I play video games, it is to help me not think and just relax.

Sometimes I do not relax even if that was my beginning goal.... My Pikachu collection I have amassed is an example of me not relaxing LOL.

So lately I have been playing Pokémon Sword and Shield. I have the Sword version and have beat the campaign more than once. I already finished the play through on my current account and am now mostly catching Pokémon and trying to max out my Pokédex.

One thing I thought would be fun to do is make a full team of Pikachu. It ended up being more funny than fun but has still been fun lol.

I have a higher level Pikachu I got from the wild area. I caught the rest of my Pikachu on route 4.

I started from humble beginnings with 5 of my Pikachu starting below level 20.

Then I got them to level 30 or higher.

Now I got them to level 40 or higher.

As you can see from my last picture, 2 of my Pikachu have fainted. The main issue I have with running a Pikachu team in Sword and Shield is Pikachu have terrible base stats and are relatively easy to defeat. I even lose to water Pokémon that I would normally be able to beat with a solid Electric Pokémon.

The cool thing is, Sword and Shield has Pokémon Jobs that you can do. Some of these jobs help increase base stats of your Pokémon. You can level up Pokémon this way too but I would rather level up my Pikachu the hard way through catching more Pokémon. I think my next move will be getting my Pikachu base stats up so I can face stronger Pokémon with my Pikachu team.

I do go camping to level up my Pikachu from time to time; this is a lot easier than leveling up Pikachu through catching Pokémon. Camping is one way to level Pokémon in this version of the Pokémon series; I am not sure if camping is interesting or boring.... I go back and forth lol.
