Freewrite Writing Prompt: NORM

What do you know about norms?
Is it how people talk? Is it how they say things? Should we all align together? Should we all align to how they react? Or couple it all, or just go on our own way?

What is the norm in this world we live in?
Would life be easier when we go do it our own way without minding what others feel? Or just go the way they do things?

This was just the norm. So I had that wake-up rush through that day. I had so many complaints. Being tired, sleepy, everything was just going normal. I think that was the right way to live. If you struggle, you work hard, you're supposed to try to do better and feel as if everything is supposed to be easy and all the rest too.

Just on a random day, nothing special happened. Of the place where I go, I got tired. I stopped forcing that excitement. I said enough is enough. I'm being myself.
It was well understood. It was not time to apologize. Risk it. It felt like a risk at first, but breaking down norms was the best thing ever.

Instead of falling apart or losing myself. Something has to be done. Done the right way. Normal is not just a goal, just an average thing. So what does average do? They just follow others, their leads. They tend to join the pack, to join the group and be among the group.

What feels normal might not just be the world. So now I let myself to just be that. So unusual. Not loud. Just honest with myself. And for that, I feel better now. Better than normal. As usual. Not much to say.
