RAGE FLORA | ILLUSTRATION.
A Note from the Creator:
“I did not create them to seek revenge. I created them so that the world could breathe.”
Hola a todos, soy Humansleep. En esta ocasión quiero publicar mi trabajo en la comunidad Alien Art Hive. Y aquí también compartiré el proceso de trabajo, ya sea dibujo o boceto.
This work is part of a monthly zine project called Abera Zine, with the theme “Bloom,” which I worked on with my friends last June.
And, while I was creating this piece, I felt a sense of frustration that I couldn’t quite pinpoint the source of—hahaha… And, since I wasn’t sure where to vent it at the time… I just poured all my frustration into this piece, which, as it happens, happens to have “bloom” as its theme—hahaha.
A thought accidentally popped into my head one night while I was drinking coffee on the balcony near the attic. What if I approached this work from the perspective of the creator or an observer—let’s just call them an alien.
RAGE FLORA
Opening:
"Humans call me an alien.“ ”How funny.“ ”Because in my eyes..." “...it is you who are the alien beings.” I have seen thousands of stars born. I have witnessed planets freeze. I was there when the first galaxies collided. Yet... I have never seen a single species... so skilled at creating life... and yet so skilled at destroying it.
Rage Flora.
In her original form, Rage Flora already looks furious, as a result of the actions of greedy humans who have treated her and her friends with utter disregard. However, at this stage, she still gives humans a chance and shows them tolerance, hoping they’ll change before it’s too late. But, as it turns out, they don’t… and finally, she screams at the top of her lungs, “I hate fuckin fascist region,” before Flora transforms and attacks.
SCP Rage Flora.
SCP Rage Flora is a depiction of its transformed form once Rage Flora has entered its rage phase and can no longer be reasoned with.
I have created thousands of worlds. Some were born barren. Others were destroyed before they had a chance to experience life.
But... there is one planet that made me stop wandering. A small, blue planet. A planet covered in water. A planet you call... Earth. It isn’t perfect yet. But... it has a chance.
I didn’t build mountains. I didn’t create the oceans. I didn’t set the sun ablaze. I simply… gave one small gift: a seed. The first seed I planted wasn’t a tree, but rather an awareness. I named it… Flora.
Flora is not merely plants; they are a single living entity divided into billions of individual bodies. Their roots communicate with one another. Fungi serve as the conduit for their thoughts. The wind carries messages from leaf to leaf. Rain is a language that only they understand. The entire forest... is a single living being.
I taught them one law.
“Never hate.”
Because a life filled with hate... will cease to create life. They have obeyed that law for millions of years.
Then... humans arrived. At first... I liked them. They were the first creatures capable of asking questions. Capable of creating. Capable of dreaming. I believed... they would become Flora’s guardians.
But slowly... that dream began to rot. They started cutting down the forest—not out of hunger, but out of greed. They burned the land for profit. They poisoned the rivers. They drained the swamps. They turned the mountains into pits. They treated all life... as a commodity.
I kept watching. I was sure... that one day they would realize it. But the one who changed... wasn’t a human, but Flora.
Every tree that falls... sends a wave of pain to the other roots. Every flower that withers from poison... becomes a memory for the entire plant community. They never forget. They simply... keep it stored away, for thousands of years.
Until one day... I heard something... I’d never heard before. Not the sound of the wind. Not the sound of leaves. Not the sound of rain. But... a scream.
“I HATE FUCKIN FASCIST REGION!!”
Flora’s entire network trembled. The flowers bloomed all at once. But... their blooming wasn’t a sign of the season. Rather... it was the birth of anger. That day... Flora learned an emotion I had never—taught her.
I know... I could stop it. I could erase the entire Flora network. I could plant new life. I’m capable of it. But... I chose to remain silent. Because I asked myself...
“Do I have the right to blame my creations... for the pain they never stop enduring?”
And so... Flora transformed. Petals became blades. Roots became whips. Pollen turned into poison. Stems became spears. Fruits became projectiles. And the entire forest... rose up.
They don’t attack because they’re hungry. They don’t attack for power. They don’t attack for revenge. They attack... because they’ve finally come to realize... that some people only listen once something they have begins to fall apart.
The Creator simply said:
“I once created Flora to sustain life. Now they sustain themselves. And perhaps... the greatest mistake wasn’t when they began to grow angry, but when humans assumed their patience would last forever.”
I watched it all. I didn’t cheer. I didn’t cry, either. Because to me... this wasn’t Flora’s victory. It was... a human failure.
If one day... you find a flower blooming amid the ruins of a city... don’t ask... “Why is nature so cruel?” Instead, ask... “How long has nature actually been trying to be patient?”

Just like before, but this time I'm trying to add a few more patterns.
Ending:
The Creator has never spoken to humans. Throughout history. Never. Why? Because, in His view... if a species only does good after being told to... then that goodness doesn’t come from within itself. He deliberately chose to observe only from a distance. He wanted to know... whether humans would choose to preserve life... without anyone commanding them. Unfortunately... the answer is... no. When Flora began to rage... the observer didn’t seem panicked at all. He just sat atop a large rock. Watching the entire earth turn green. Then he said softly...
“I did not fail to create Flora.” Silence. “I simply trusted humanity too much.”
This is all I can say for right now, sorry if there are wrong words or my typing is not perfect.
Thank you for taking the time just to stop by and see my work, and see you in my next work. 👽🖐
