Wedding Reception Culture

Realizing a wedding is the dream of everyone who want to hold a wedding in Indonesia. Marriage is sacred value that will build a housee hold. Many Island and tribes of marriage have different custom and Cultures.

A pair of men and women who are about to get marriage requires careful preparation. Both the preparation of the reception and the preparation of the marriage contract, such as the implementation of the reception and marriage ceremony in a small town in Central Java.

The concept uses Javanes cultural customs, like other cultures before enterity the reception , there is a presentation from the prospective groom after arriving at the place where the prospective women submits her luggage such as food, clothing, jewerly and other neccessities.

Then the marriage ceremony was held by officers from the religious office the with witnessles. After the marriage ceremony is complete, is continued with traditional and cultural events.

Starting from Sungkem or asking for the blessing of the perents of the bride and groom. Then other cultural event with even organizer, for the implementation of the wedding reception usually use an even organizer.

Traditional cultural events the event organizer use Javanese traditional clothes with the Javanese palace language, as well as arranging Sungkeman, bridal mapag,and cultural traditional events assisted by the emmce and assisted by one with traditional cultural clothes as a guide.

"Ngunduh mantu", a cultural tradition is often used as complementary procession for traditional Javanese weddings and also Sundanese customs.

Although "Ngunduh mantu" it self is not an obligation, many people still want to hold one of the trsditional cultural wedding processions. A decorated tent is needed, as we can see,the decoration of the tent in front of the house follows the consep of romance.

"Ngunduh mantu", is a continuation partly, this party is used as a momentum as a way for the grams family to notify relatives or neighbors that they have a new family, member namely the bride.

The procession of washing feet, many kinds of wedding processions according to the customs of each tribe, Javanese traditional marriage recognizes by washing parent's feet.

It can be interpreted as of request for blessing by the bride and groom to their respective parents so that the bride and groom later in the household are given smoothness and get Ridho from the Merciful God.
