The distinctive aroma of the kebab skin and spices. Kebab food is not only popular in Turkey, but also abroad, one of which is in the city of Sukabumi, West Java, where I live.

This afternoon I came to the Turkish kebab shop, who has an authentic kebab business from Turkey. The kebab business has been around for about 35 years. They sell kebabs in the small town Sukabumi, west Java.

The kebab entrepreneur employs several local women to serve customers. Chicken is seen being grilled using gas. Some of the kebab ingredients are imported from Turkey, while others are locally sourced.

However, the waiter doesn't mention which kebab ingredients are imported from Turkey, saying it's a sectret. The kebab skin is what makes a Turkish person the owner of the business.

I ordered a kebab for 20.000,- IDR or around ($1,2). Then the waiter prepared the finished kebab skin. Then filled it with chicken meat, and filled it with sliced onions, sliced tomatos, and other sliced vegetables, plus sauce and mayonnaise and than rolled it up.

Kebabs are eaten in front of the shop, provided seating simple tables.
