CHAPTER 24. 답이 없다고 생각할 때 [When you think you have no answer]

“답이 생긴다”

이것만큼 현명한 대답이 있을까. 어디서부터 오는지도 모르는 것에 답답해도, 미칠 것 같이 가슴이 아파도 우리는 비로소 마음을 내려놓을 때 답을 찾을 수 있다.

억지에서 오는 것은 분명한 끝이 있으며, 그 답 또한 시원치 못한 찝찝함을 남긴다. 언제까지 차선에 의해 만족하며 살 것인가.

자연에서 얻는 답은 다만 그 속도는 느릴지라도 어떠한 미련이나 후회를 남기지 않는 답을 선사한다.

설사 그 답이 아니더라도, 우리는 답이 없다고 온전히 내려놓아 봤다는 사실 하나만으로 얼마나 많은 것을 얻지 않았던가.

답이 없다고 생각할 때, 답이 있다고만 생각했던 것에서 벗어나 내가 보지 못했던 새로움을 보는 기회를 얻을 수 있게 될 것이다.

"We have an answer."

I wonder if there is a wiser answer than this. Whatever comes from, however frustrating it may be to be so mad, that we can find the answer when we put our mind to it.

Coming from a deterrent has clear ends, and the answer also leaves an ominous feeling of discomfort. Until when will I live content with the lanes?

Answers from Nature can provide no regrets or lingering questions, although they may be slow.

How much didn't we get by the fact that we had put down our answers completely?

If you don't think you have an answer, you'll get a chance to see the novelty I didn't see, instead of just the answers I thought there were.
