Design Chapter | Logo Design

Came across the contest for designing a logo for curie, so here's my attempt:

An excerpt from their post regarding Curie;

My take on the illustrated concept is quite straight forward:

1. The semi-circles surrounding, illustrate the visual construct/system of the community aspired that serves as witnesses towards the curation of meritocracy.
2. The implied shape of the circle within describes a wholeness of seen yet unseen content.
3. The mixture of blue and white translates to the community objectives - trust and transparency.
4. Upvote in the centre, well because, upvote :)
