I’d like to find out who this woman is and run a Go Fund Me Campaign for her, to help with her defense costs.
Hundreds of thousands of rape kits sit idle in police departments across the country, without being investigated.
On those rare occasions when charges are brought against the rapist, if he is wealthy and hires the right attorney, he gets off scott free. Many times the victim is essentially victimized again, during the trial.
Rape is not taken seriously in America. This helps encourage would be rapists and emboldens rapists. If vigilante justice is all we have left, so be it! This woman should walk free. She did what our “Justice” System no longer does: punish the criminal for his crime!
