लोकसभा से 3 तलाक बिल पास, कांग्रेस का वॉकआउट

सदन में मौजूद 256 सांसदों में से 245 सदस्यों ने इसके पक्ष में मतदान किया, जबकि 11 सदस्यों ने इसका खिलाफ अपना वोट दिया। इसके साथ ही सदन में असदुद्दीन ओवैसी के तीन संशोधन प्रस्ताव भी गिर गए। कई अन्य संशोधन प्रस्तावों को भी मंजूरी नहीं मिली।

तीन तलाक को लेकर लंबे समय से चली आ रही बहस के बीच समाजवादी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता आजम खान ने विवादित बयान दिया है। उन्होंने कहा है कि मुसलमानों के लिए कोई कानून मान्य नहीं है। मुसलमान सिर्फ वही करेगा जो कुरान में कहा गया है।
