See things differently

A patient had a terrible stomach problem, which was referred to a clinic where they do studies and help him to get better due to his complications, he is lying in bed, unable to go out even to the patio since he would not have the strength to doing it, seeing that panorama and many others that, through the window of the room, you can see other patients suffering from different problems, and you see how life is beyond those we know and surround us, I began to think about this that time let me peek...

It is a simple image that, being present in that environment, and looking at other rooms in the clinic made me think about some inconveniences that we have every day, traffic, lack of money, your well-being and yours, and much more. The fact of how we can live as a consequence, if we have no other option, and end the same way, but the rhythm of life is sometimes stronger and carries us like waves in the river, is also a political discussion.

The patient who is here is Number #1 that I mentioned before, I hope he can recover, but the battle is difficult and the road is very narrow, there are few possibilities, but the family that loves him still has hope and that must be respected , and understanding them since being in their place should not be difficult at all, my role here and my training make it so that this news does not come back to me personally or in any direct way, even if it seems difficult while you see the family cry, or to the same patient suffering for the same reason, in my role as Therapeutic Companion I must position myself from their perspective, being objective about my subjectivity which I must ignore, it is the life of the other and it is the other who decides these aspects.

How can an image of a building cause this, this question or rather this philosophical way of considering issues that usually pass us by. This image is embodied in an environment (where there are hospitalized patients) some screaming in pain, other new ones entering and others leaving who knows where.
