playing with light
Yesterday i made a post about my new toy the Godox-M1, that was inside the house today i decided to take it to the next level and go out side to play with it.
Since we had fog this morning everything was coverd with waterdrops.
I wanted to use the Godox-M1 as background colur light and use my normal flash light as a filler.
Once outside i spotted this caterpillar on my parsley sitting stil in the cold wet condition a perfect victim for my experience with light :)
Here you see the First setup Caterpillar in the middle
the Godox-M1 in the top of the picture
and the LAOWA LED ring in the bottom of the picture.
And this is the result: ISO 400 1/125 F8
Then i decided to see if the LED ring could make a difference shining upwards
And this was the result : ISO 400 1/125 F8
In the end i decided to go without the LED ring for now and play with some Colour settings.
I still need to get used to this way of lightning setups, but i think it has some creative possabilities .
I did use the normal flash light with the pringles can for filling lights +/- f16 i tried to use the TTL option but that wasn't enough.
Let me know what you think of this for Macro Photography in the comments .
And finally using the Godox-M1 as your main light without flash seems to work very well to :ISO 200 f5.6 1/125
