Chilliadou Beach- Evia

This is one of my favorite spots in all of Greece and I'll be sure to visit a few times especially during the summer.
It is about a 2 hour drive from Athens and the drive itself is very rewarding.

What's special about this beach is that it incorporates many different things.
One can go for short hikes, you can do a bit of river trekking down Stropones gorge but the main attraction are the huge sandy beaches which combined with the nearby islets and the many caverns and caves make it ideal for sea-kayaking.

A word of caution - always check the weather report since the beach is facing the Aegean and it is very exposed to the weather!
