Black chicken

Yaah you saw it right. It’s black and it’s chicken.

I devour atleast a few of these innocent animals a week for last 10+ years. I was sure I have ventured into all kinds of chicken realms. From eating chicken feet to chicken comb - from Indian to morocco, Japanese to Jamaican I have ventured into all kinds of chicken fun. I was pretty convinced that I will have no new adventures with chicken in my life.

A couple of weeks ago I decided to visit a large Asian grocery store which have recently opened near my home.

And I find this puppy sitting callously on a nice looking shelf:

Just like this. Like regular chicken! Not even without an warning sign “Only go if you want to get amazed or shocked!”.

I NEVER KNEW BLACK CHICKEN EXISTS. (And no, it is not colored. I asked the hot Chinese lady who bought it in front of me! And she also swore it tastes better than regular chicken)

Black chicken - gave me the Hibbi Jibbies all over.
