
What is wave? Describe it's type...
A wave is a disturbance in the medium which causes the particles of the medium to undergo vibratory motion about their mean position in equal intervals of time .
There are two categories of waves
- Mechanical waves
2.Electromagnetic
Mechanical waves.
Waves which require any medium for their propagation are called mehanical waves.
Water waves sound waves
Electromagnetic waves.
Waves which don't require and medium for their propagation are called electromagnetic waves.
Radio waves television waves , X Ray
