What is mitochondria?
Mitochondria are rod shaped and double membranous cell organelles present in the cytoplasm of a cell.
The inner membrane in mitochondria has finger like structure called cristae.
Mitochondria are known as power generator in the cells .This is because energy producing reactions are taking place in the mitochondria.
