What is chromotography ?
Chromatography is a technique used for separation of coloured components of a mixture.
In this method different solutes are dissolved in the same solvent as components of the mixture.
When the solution is made to move on chromotographic paper or some other stationary phases , the dissolved components solutes move on the paper along with the solvent at different rates .
In this way , the colored components become separated on the paper.
