cycle alongside Loch Ness
As the lockdown in Scotland continues, I decided to go for a wee cycle alongside Loch Ness to Inverfarigaig and back and check out if the Nessie monsta is social distancing as well as all the Scots. It was 57 km ride on a mountain bike so extra hard.
I went through nice easy countryside track.
Alongside the track there is the Telford Bush growing which makes the trail look so beautiful with the intense yellow flowers.
When I got to beautiful Dores beach, the rain started pouring...
I carried on the road alongside Loch Ness... this time no monster and no tourists...
In a closer zoom I could just see the reminiscence of an old Urquhart castle on the other side of the loch.
There is also one of my favourite hills known as the doughnut hill, Meall Fuar-mhonaidh, near Drumnadrochit.
I had my wee break to look at the loch and time to get back home.
