Ode To Dust
A sculptor worked carefully. Sweat was on his brow as he focused. Tap tap tap. Little bits of rock and dust fell carefully from the large block of marble.
The artist nodded, taking his chisel to begin softly carving out a face, and then an arm, reaching up towards the heavens.
The artist continued tapping his tools against the stone, the little pieces falling away to reveal it: The grand masterpiece. A beautiful person made of stone, perfectly crafted. Such strength, power, grace, beauty, and all manner of exquisite charm.
The sculptor marveled at his creation and nodded, smiling happily. The statue nodded back, and then stood up, and stretched. A big smile was on its face just then.
The statue looked down at its feet and spoke, "Thank you dust."
