We only value what we had when it is gone, and this keep repeating itself.
When we have so much money in our hands, we tend to lavish it, then when it is gone we start thinking of important things we would have used the money. We couldn't because we never knew the worth of it when it was there. This happens when we let people that important in our lives go so easily.
You have to cultivate huge discipline for you to value what you have when it is still available, it is really difficult but you should still learn to appreciate what you have, that is when the act of gratitude and thanksgiving come to place.
Appreciate what you have now because nothing last forever.
