The happiness of the humble Sunflower. It brings energy and life to our bees and also lifts our spirits.
When I say solar power sunflower, I mean it. We have our own energetic system know as the chakra system (7 main and hundreds in total but that's for another day). The chakra that resides above the naval and below the heart is our Solar Plexus or Manipura. This is our Solar power, our personal power and self-worth.
Connecting to our own unique solar power can enhance our energy and well-being. This is why I feel sunshine and sunflowers boost our happiness. The sunflower seeds provide us with a great source of magnesium, are beneficial for cardio health and thyroid function. The oil is a great addition to food and also to skin nourishing creams alongside other skin loving herbs like calendula, chickweed and plantain.
The bees are certainly in love with this plant and so am I.
