Huge West Australian march fly
I hope I have identified this fly correctly. This is a march fly or tabanid and is huge and to think that it can suck your blood with that long chainsaw of a mouth makes it quite scary. This particular one was at least 3cm long probably the largest fly I have ever seen.
If you are interested I am selling some photos of mine on prints or on merch at https://hendrikspix.redbubble.com
Also, my photos cannot be used without my permission thank you.
