Mistake number 1 being that you should shoot to buy cards to get your commons to level 2 as fast as possible so that you can rent them out for better profits. Also, if you're looking to get more DEC then you need to sign up for the Rising Star game (see link below). This game is the key to growing your account 2 times faster than with just playing Splinterlands alone.
