What is Human Design?

Basically a human design chart shows the position of each planet when you were born, then puts it all together as a body chart.

Human Design is not a belief system - you may bring with you whatever beliefs you already have.

It is a synthesis of many systems including Astrology, the Hindu Chakras, the Kabbalah Tree of Life and the Chinese I Ching, as well as the modern sciences of Astronomy, Biochemistry, Quantum Mechanics and Genetics.

There are 11 planets, 2 nodes and 1 star (comet!) that we use in Human Design to help you understand you. Below, you’ll see a picture of a bodygraph with the names of the planets listed next to it so you can see clearly which symbols match which planets. (Although, if you’re an Astrology buff then you’ll probably already recognise these).

👉👉👉 If you haven’t got yourself a free Human Design chart yet (or you got one from anywhere other than Genetic Matrix) then I’m going to recommend getting a chart using that software as this is what I use throughout these posts.

While it’s not essential that you use the Genetic Matrix software it will make it easier for you to follow along and is definitely one of the best HD software companies available today. Hence, my recommendation 😉

You’re looking for the option that says “Create Free Chart”. Be sure to enter your birth details carefully. If you don’t know your birth time, I’ll address that in another post.

Your Genetic Matrix chart will look similar to this. The free version has less text but is more than enough to make great use of.
