No hay mucho misterio con esta: Quería dibujar a Lady de Devil May Cry en estilo pin-up girl, de esas que tuvieron un gran auge por los 40.
I've come back with another illustration, guys.
There is not much mystery with this one: I wanted to draw Lady from Devil May Cry in a pin-up girl style, those that had a big boom in the 40s.
Empiezo con el dibujo en tradicional como siempre, pero traté de mantenerlo algo más límpio para usarlo como sombreado en la ilustración final, ya verán.
I started with the drawing in traditional as always, but I tried to keep it somewhat cleaner to use it as a shading in the final illustration, you will see.
No hice tanto énfasis en el lineart esta vez, así me centro en el sombreado.
I didn't put much emphasis on the lineart this time and focus on the shading.
Usé un filtro para cambiar el color del grafito.
I used a filter to change the color of the graphite.
Aquí pueden ver como se ve cuando aplico el color. Generalmente aplico el color base y luego con una capa en multiply añado las sombras, pero esta vez usé la misma ilustración tradicional como sombreado, y encima los colores en multiply.
Here you can see how it looks when I apply the color. Generally I apply the base color and then with a layer in multiply I add the shadows, but this time I used the same traditional illustration as shading, and on top of it the color in multiply.
Para la ropa y el pelo tuve que hacer algunos ajustes en los colores del sombreado.
For the clothes and hair I had to make some adjustments to the shading colors.

En esta parte hice algunos cambios con liquify al ojo y la oreja.
On this part I made some changes to the eye and the ear with liquify.
Debo admitir que no tenía ni idea de qué hacer para el fondo.
I have to admit that I had no idea of what to do for the background at first.
Creo que salió algo bueno después de experimentar con varias cosas.
I think something good came out after experimenting with various things.
