Taking Life for Granted....

With the busy-ness of the everyday grind, our lives can reek havek on our minds, body, and soul. Our jobs can grab us by the horns, our family needs caring for, bills must be paid, and other obligations that we are responsible for request our constant attention and focus. I am learning at age 43, the importance of BALANCE. Balance in everything we do. We must find and make time for us, you, me, ourselves......to create balance somewhere. We all once had a passion when we were younger, something we always LOVED doing. What is that? Someone once told me last year, to find that 2 year old within ourselves and ask him/her "What makes you HAPPY?"

For me? It's finding time to PLAY outdoors. I used to be a tom-boy as a child playing at the beach, riding bikes, rollerskating, playing marbles, pencil fights, and getting dirty. Although adulthood takes over us, and we "grow-up" , it doesn't mean, we should lose our passion and zeal for the things we love to do. Today, we spent a few hours at a nearby beach...."Kua Bay" and did just that. Took in some fresh air, listened to the birds chirping, felt the warm sun rays, and saw the bright blue color of the ocean and its waves. All of my 6 senses were satisfied, especially spending time with my son, daughter in law, and soon to be grandson. Life is GREAT, and I am blessed!
