Hello open mic community week 254: I am Harvodey and I'll be doing a cover of #We Thirst For You; original singer is #Cece Winams.

The title for this week is #break free, I'll like to explain my thoughts for choosing this song this week.

The song says we thirst for you, the You in this contest is the Almighty God, it also says in a dry and barren land we longing for your hands to guide us to, a place where you, can feel us with your rain, baptise us once again. You know when you're so much in love with the things of this world, it seems like you're entangled and it becomes very difficult to break away so this song is a means of asking God to help me break free from such entanglement, and put me in a place where I can be totally be free from all obstacles and bondages.

The greatest freedom anyone can have is in the Love of Christ, so I ask for daily strength to be free from burdens and fears, especially things that get me worried. This song helps me clear my mind and break free to a better place emotionally.
