Check out these lush beauties growing right in my backyard here in Lusaka! These are my turmeric plants (Curcuma longa). I love how their big, vibrant green leaves with that signature pleated texture look almost like mini banana plants. They're doing so well in our Zambian soil! 🌱
Growing turmeric at home feels incredibly rewarding. Not only is it one of nature's most powerful superfoods — packed with curcumin that supports anti-inflammatory benefits, immunity, and digestion — but it's also a beautiful addition to any garden.
