Cell phone traffic

We now have added not only car traffic but cell phone traffic to watch out for “dangerous” walking and talking a/o texting, whichever comes first to our woes. I am now dodging cars on the road and pedestrians in love with their phones. I have had numerous hits and misses with said pedestrians staring down at their phone and walking in a drunken fashion oblivious to their surroundings. Worst offenders are the ones that bring their phones and use them on their dinner dates with loved ones and friends. I find it appalling that no one stops to say hello or engage in conversations like the good old days.
