After Rain at Lhoknga

It was raining at Lhoknga, a place known for its beautiful landscape not too far from my house. So I took a picture and then trying to draw it...

I used acrylic on watercolor paper, It's been awhile that I didn't use acrylic, so... I need to get used with it again... feel so weird...

Step by Step

First make a simple sketch.

Coloring the sky... to be honest I'm not sure how my sky should looks like, haha...

For acrylic painting, I always start by painting the background and the darkest color...

Then using bright colors for details...

I was thinking this is the final work, but then I can't stop myself from adding more and more details...

Until my painting looks like this... now I think I like it and I force myself to stop editing... I found it hard to stop :D
