March Food Dump Part 1 π½π€
Hi Hivers! π
Let me share to you part 1 of my food trips for the whole month of March. Every time I eat out with friends/ family I donβt really focus on taking a lot of pictures simply because Iβm THAT excited to eat. Luckily, I got a few pictures and Iβd be sharing to you my very honest review about it. π
π Calm Street, Bonifacio District
Iβd give this dish a 6.5 out of 10. This is a rice bowl for 350 pesos. Kimchi fried rice with grilled pork. The rice didnβt taste like kimchi, the serving of the pork was too small and the meat wasnβt soft enough. I had a hard time eating it since Iβm having braces on my teeth. π¬ This dish wasnβt worth the price. The place was nice tho lived up to its name, a calming aesthetic. π§π½βπ³π€
My sister bought a burger and I was able to taste it. I liked the caramelized onions in it and the meat but my sister said itβs too greasy but also delicious. She also loved the sides. ππ²
We also ordered their soy garlic chicken for our appetizers and potato wedges. These were both 8/10 since it was pricey for a small amount of serving but still good! βΊοΈ
This was actually when my cousins and I met after 2 long years since the pandemic. We transferred to IT Park after our lunch date. We stayed at Ambiance. We had cocktails and bought slices of pie from Bananapple, a store nearby. The banoffee pie is 9/10 while the apple caramel crumble pie is 7/10. This is really affordable but Iβm not really a fan of this type of pastry hehe the price was I think 170 to 180 pesos a slice π°
Left pie slice is the banoffee and the right pie slice is the apple caramel crumble pie.
They had a lot on their list of cocktails and other alcoholic drinks! Which was really confusing we had to ask the strongest cocktail drink LOL we just want value for our money π
The cocktail drink is called fall in love with coco and itβs a 9/10. Taste really good but the price is too much for me. 300 pesos for a glass and the serving was too little as well. I think that 3-4 glasses of this drink and Iβd be drunk already LOL π΄πΉπ₯₯β±
π Ambiance, The Walk IT Park Cebu
Fall in Love with Coco, the container for the drink is also cute!
After our afternoon hangout, I went to Eulax Pub to see my workmates and have dinner. We also havenβt seen each other or havenβt been complete for a long time since most of us are working from home and again due to the pandemic. Thereβs this food stall that my good friend have and they sell really good chicken wings. 10/10!! I might sound so bias but my friend is good at cooking sheβs been doing this every since! I think she also took up BSBA-HRM ππ©π½βπ³π³π₯
πEulax Pub, E-zone
They have garlic parmesan, soy garlic, spicy buffalo and korean fried chicken. They have homemade dips namely creamy truffle, garlic mayo and Ajβs secret dip. Everything is really good guys I swear money back if proven wrong! LOL in all seriousness I do recommend it ππ«°π½
I let my workmates try all the flavors. They were really happy that they got try to them all. My friend who owns the stall thanked me for supporting local. She even let me ask my workmates if they have any suggestions because she is really open to them as well. They said they didnβt have any and would also revisit the stall. I appreciate business owners who are always looking out for customer feedback ππΌ
The price of these dish would go from 180-360 pesos since they serve in solo meals and group platters.
Here are pictures of the stall and the mouth watering chicken wings! ππ
