soup time

I wanted to share this drawing I made today. It is a cozy scene of two characters sharing a meal together, and I thought I’d break down some of the details I put into it.

On the left, there is a girl with long blonde hair. She wears a blue dress with ruffled sleeves. I gave her green slippers for some color and a cozy feel. She holds a spoon, ready to eat from a big bowl of soup on the table. On the right, there is another girl with spiky green hair I think it looks quirky and I love it. She has a red top with a big yellow bow at the collar, green pants, and yellow slippers. She is looking focused and intentional. The two sit at a round table the big bowl between them shows they are sharing food, which makes it feel warm and friendly. I added a strong wooden base to the table and wooden chairs with high backs to keep the cozy look. There is a small cup for tea, to give that relaxed afternoon vibe.
I drew it in a cartoon style with simple lines. The colors are giving a nice, old memory feeling. I like how the long hair, spiky hair, and big bow make it playful and quirky. Their clothes and the setting mix old fashioned and fantasy
