Double Strike Die Error??
I was coin roll hunting last night and came across this 1996 half dollar coin that I think may be some sort of a die error. I can't tell for sure but to me this looks like it was done while the coin was being pressed and not something done after the fact, but I'm not entirely sure. What do you guys think?
I know that die errors can be worth some cash even with the coins not in super great shape, I'm just not sure if this is some sort of double strike die error or something happened to the coin while in public hands. Any expertise would be greatly appreciated!
