VERY Red Fields
In early summer, some VERY red fields can be seen when driving on some freeways here in Estonia. These are poppies or red Flanders poppies. Some people grow them in very large quantities, and to be honest, I'm not sure why. I don't think these flowers produce edible seeds or anything. Maybe they grow the flowers to sell later, but I don't know.
Whatever the case is, it sure is very beautiful to see this blood red field in the middle of all the greenery. I made a quick stop at the side of the road to take a couple of photos. Fortunately, I had a camera with me at the time.
As I said, fields like this can only be seen during the early summer and by now, when writing this post, these fields are no more.
